Google Books No Page Numbers

It totally negates the usefulness of google books for doing academic work.

Google books no page numbers. How are we supposed to cite books for papers if there are no page numbers. The page number wasn t showing up for one book in particular. Some deal with front matter roman numerals etc.

How come google books doesn t provide the page numbers anymore. And they don t always match up with actual page numbers in the book. I searched another book and it still had the page numbers.
